What is SourceKit?

SourceKit is an essential eCommerce tool that helps Marketplace Sellers automatically earn money back from price drops, missing returns and late delivery credits. Using SourceKit’s powerful suite of Radars, Sellers also save time, reduce error rates, and streamline operations.

How does SourceKit Work?

After you link the email account you use for making online purchases, SourceKit immediately starts working to get you money back and present you with rich insights on your past purchases and customers. 

It first searches for your recent purchases by identifying order confirmation and shipping emails. Then it begins looking for eligible reimbursements in the form of missing returns, late deliveries and price drops. Once it identifies possible refunds, SourcKit presents them on the dashboard—giving you an option to submit your claims, and keep track of them all within the SourceKit dashboard. 

SourceKit works best when you connect all the accounts you use for online shopping as secondary accounts, instead of forwarding all the purchase emails to the primary account. You can do that by going to the left panel on the dashboard and clicking on ‘Email Accounts’ to link all the other accounts.

  • Gas

Getting Started on SourceKit

Can I connect my other purchasing emails to my account?

Yes! SourceKit allows multiple secondary emails to be linked to your primary account. We highly encourage linking all your purchasing emails to one account so all your purchases and claims are in one place.

To do this, simply click on 'Email Accounts' in the sidebar of the webapp, then click on 'Link Another Email Address', and sign into the email account you want to link.

 

 

Troubleshooting

How do I allow SourceKit to access my Yahoo email?

Step 1: Before you connect your account to SourceKit, log into Yahoo go to Settings > Account Info

Step 2:Then go to the “Account security” section and enter your username and password. 

Step 3: Once you are in the Account security section activate the “Allow apps that use less secure sign in” 

You can now connect your Yahoo Mail account to SourceKit!

Why did the Retailer reject my claim?

SourceKit helps you recover refunds from uncredited returns, delayed deliveries and price drop adjustments. 

Each retailer has its own price adjustment policy with different terms and conditions. If a claim does not meet the criteria as outlined in their policy, they reserve the right to reject a claim request. Some common reasons they can reject a claim are:

  • item is now out of stock,
  • marketplace orders,
  • final sale or clearance items,
  • bundled items,
  • items sold in limited quantity,
  • advertising errors or misprints,
  • certain blackout periods (like Thanksgiving Weekend, Boxing Day),
  • certain product categories (like photo services, prescription drugs),
  • BOPIS (“buy online pick-up in store”) (i.e. Kohl’s excludes these types of order but other retailers accept them).

SourceKit pre-screens your claim to make sure that you’ve got the best chance of receiving your refund. Our algorithms won’t present a claim on your dashboard for items that are determined to be excluded by the retailer. As a result, SourceKit maximizes your post-purchase cashback while protecting your relationship with retailers.

Please note: As of September 2019, Walmart announced that it no longer offers post-purchase price reduction refunds for online purchases made at Walmart.com.

As of October 2016, Amazon no longer offers price adjustment claims (except on TVs). If your credit card offers a price protection benefit, you may still be able to protect your Amazon purchases by submitting a price adjustment claim directly to your credit card administrator.

Where can I see my Affiliate Report?

You can find your affiliate report by going to the left panel on the dashboard and clicking on your profile and visiting the ‘Affiliate Report’ to find your total affiliate income, pending income, payable income, and paid affiliate income, money that has been paid.

How do I get paid?

We will credit money to your Swiggle account any Affiliate income you earn no more than 60 days after Swiggle collects fees from your Referred Users.

You can elect to receive your Affiliate income in cash by requesting it on the My Account section of the webapp. By default, your Affiliate income will appear as invoice credits and will automatically be applied against any fees you owe Swiggle.

Do you have a Referral Program?

We do! You can earn an instant $10 credit towards your next bill by referring others. Everyone that joins using your personal link will earn a $10 credit too! 

You can find your personal link by going to the left panel on the dashboard and clicking on ‘Referrals Program‘.

Billing & Payments

What form of payments do you accept?

SourceKit accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We handle credit card payment and processing through Stripe, one of the world’s largest and most secure payment processors.

NOTE: To ensure that your card information is safe and secure, SourceKit applies industry standard SSL encryption and exchanges a Stripe generated token to identify and charge your card after earning you a refund. SourceKit never stores your complete credit card information on our servers.

How do I enter my credit card details?

In order to link your credit card with SourceKit, please follow the below steps:

  1. Sign in to the SourceKit webapp at this link: https://app.swiggle.co/user/card
  2. Go to the Credit Card screen
  3. Enter your payment information

How will I get my refund?

Most retailers will directly give you the refund by crediting your original form of payment.

So, if you used your AMEX credit card to make an online purchase at Best Buy, and SourceKit subsequently identifies a price drop of $100 on that item, SourceKit will:

  • determine that the price adjustment claim meets the retailer’s eligibility requirements
  • compile relevant claim details and submit the price adjustment request to the retailer on your behalf
  • negotiate with the retailer to credit the $100 price adjustment back to your original form of payment

What is your Privacy Policy?

​​Your privacy is incredibly important to us. When we built SourceKit, we strived to create a service that would meet the strong privacy expectations and standards of our users.

WE WILL NOT USE OR SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH ANYONE EXCEPT AS DESCRIBED IN OUR PRIVACY POLICY.​

What is your Email Security?

Our service works by collecting e-receipts from your email inbox. We’ve built internal protocols and systems to only search for receipts in your inbox that match our supported merchants. The only information that our system gets from your email relates to communications from supported merchants.

Your email account remains fully in your control. When you sign up with SourceKit using your email, SourceKit never sees or stores your password. Instead, you connect directly with your email provider (i.e. Gmail, Outlook, etc.) and they continue to supervise the security of your email as usual.

What is your Storage Security?

All data is stored and used in our systems using industry standard SSL encryption.

What do we do with your Shopping Data?

SourceKit does not sell your shopping data to anyone. Our service exists to save you money on your purchases. Period.
